Community Updates - November 23, 2011

Good evening,
 
As previously scheduled, we met with Residents' Representatives Tuesday evening to continue our dialogue. We will be circulating a further update, including the minutes of the meeting, by end of day tomorrow.

We continue to work directly with the Ministry of Environment (MOE) through the recent Provincial Order. Based on our last meeting with MOE, we wanted to provide the following information update:

1) Please see attached a letter to MOE outlining our proposed remedial measures to minimize off-site vibrations. This document describes six specific actions we are undertaking immediately to mitigate vibrations to adjacent properties.

2) Please see attached a site map outlining the methods of compaction used across the site. As discussed during the Residents' Representative Meeting on Tuesday evening, we have modified our ground improvement activity in order to mitigate vibrations off-site.

3) We will be commencing our Ground Improvement Activity at 8:30am Thursday, November, 24, 2011.

As mentioned, we will send another community update by end of day tomorrow, providing the minutes of last night's meeting as well as the additional information requested.
